FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

I need your help! What are the next steps?

I like to start with a free 30 minute 'Take Stock' meeting, so we can get to know each other and I can assess your individual needs. I will then provide you with a no-obligation proposal. If you decide to go ahead with the proposal, you will be required to commit to all the agreed appointments and pay a 25% deposit upon confirmation.

How much do you charge?

For the 'Clutter Detox' and '60-second filing system' services the hourly rate is 45€ (excl. BTW) for the first 1-4 hours. Additional hours beyond 4-hours are charged at 40€ (excl. BTW).

For the Productivity Masterclass which includes 4 x 1-hour sessions and a follow-up meeting within one month of completion the cost is 196€ (excl. BTW) per person. For groups of 3 or more, you can benefit from a 15% discount per person.

Do you charge for traveling to my home?

Within the Amsterdam ring there is no charge for travel. Outside the Amsterdam ring, the costs for using public transport will be passed onto the client.

How long will a Clutter Detox take?

This is dependent on your situation and size of your work or living space. For a home-based office, it can take 1-2 days to complete. An average room in your home could take 2-3 days. But in both cases, it can be quicker, if you are willing to continue with the Clutter Detox in between appointments.

Do you clean during a Clutter Detox?

The cleaning during the session or after the session is the responsibility of the client. I always suggest preparing a cleaning kit so you can remove dust, wipe down surfaces ready for replacing items during the re-organising process.

Can I do the Productivity Masterclass in 1 day?

It's not advisable as there are 4-stages to learn. It can be overwhelming to take all this information in during a single session. But it is possible, if you are willing to reserve a full day for the training without interruptions.

How do you train to be a Professional Organiser?

There are no specific educational or training requirements needed to become a professional organizer. However, organisers must be experienced and knowledgeable in their area of expertise and be able to provide references for potential clients. Most professional organizers enter the field after working for several years in other professions. All organizers must have good communication and management skills. And most, including myself, sign-up to a professional body where you must work within a Code of Ethics.
